Daffodil Days Help Fight Cancer...Buy Daffodils

Please see flyer and order form at the office desk. Bouquets of 10 daffodils are $10, and the potted daffodil bulbs (3 multi-stem bulbs in a pot) are $15.

Other options are Gifts of Hope ($25) to fund American Cancer Society programs while making daffodil bouquets available to cancer patients, and Bear Hugs for Hope ($25) providing Daffodil Bears to children impacted by cancer, with donations funding American Cancer Society programs.

The last day to order will be Sunday, February 26. Flowers will be delivered the week of March 19.

JUMP Grocery Bag Project

Thanks to everyone who filled a bag for JUMP in January. Our total this year was 31 bags, which is an improvement from the past few years.

One of the bags was given by Margaret to someone who came to the Church seeking assistance. He was hungry and grateful for the groceries that she gave him.

Hilla Damm and Gloria and George Singer assisted in delivering the donations to the JUMP office at the First Congregational Church in Burlington.

Episcopal Church Debuts New Website

(TEC Office of Public Affairs) The Episcopal Church website... www.episcopalchurch.org  has undergone a complete transformation and re-design into a welcoming, eye-appealing, easy-to-navigate,, experiential site.

Launched on December 28, the new website provides many avenues to experience the Episcopal Church, its beliefs and many ministries.

We are offering many new features, many new opportunities to be in  community,"noted Anne Rudig, Director of Communication. "Newcomers to the Episcopal Church as well as all our members will enjoy experiencing the Episcopal Church on the new site."

Key to the new website is the many opportunities for dioceses, congregations, provinces and Episcopalians to post videos and photos of local mission in action.
